Teaching Happiness like Math

I know the answer to how to end depression and suicide once and for all.  I have helped people achieve sustainable happiness for the past 15 years and now with the help of happiness science, we can indeed teach happiness like we can teach math.  Every person knows 2+2. Can you help me spread the word to those who are suffering with depression or have had suicidal thoughts?  There is no need to have depression or suicidal thoughts if all you needed was for someone to teach you 2+2.

I had the great fortune to discuss happiness at work with a bunch of bankers in downtown SF.  I discussed how depression is the 4th leading cause of disability in America, depression statistics, benefits of being happy, science of happiness, types of happiness, and how to be happy all of the time.

In other words, I show how to eliminate stress, feel better and get depression help by learning how to employ happiness science, positive psychology, to your everyday work experience.

The group was very inquisitive and asked great questions.

Feel Better and Get Depression Help by Adopting a Happiness Practice

Happiness is a practice we do every moment of everyday. Here is my recommendation to you if you would like to start a happiness practice in your day to day experience.

First, consider the benefits of starting a happiness practice. Research shows people who are frequently feeling good spend their lives in greater health, have more longevity, make more money, get promoted more often, have greater prosocial behavior, and have longer lasting more satisfying relationships.

If you follow this program to the tee.... you will in fact learn to become happier in your daily experience.

Disclosure: There are many explanations and underpinnings to everything outlaid on this happiness protocol. There are key points, integral activities, and this takes a full amount of conscious awareness on every thought, word and action in your life.

I know that some folks will wonder how these exercises will make them happy. Statements such as "Doing five duchenne smile push ups will not give me my job back" or anything else for that matter may come into play. These boosters and routines are designed to make you feel better so that you can have a better mood while tackling your everyday stressors. They are also about improving your brain chemistry.

5 I am happy jumps
zippity doo da
gratitude practice
5 acts of kindness
positive language (eliminate no not dont cant should but and try)
convert all negative thoughts to positive in the moment as they occur
20 min exercise
live in this moment
recall your 5 acts of kindness
ask yourself what are 3 good things that happened today and how did i contribute to them?
read to yourself the positive thoughts of the day
sleep

There you have it... if you master this protocol you will in fact become happier on a day to day basis.
